This privacy policy explains what personal data the "Mikiliks veb razvoj" Association collects through the https://www.udruzenje-mikiliks-veb-razvoj.rs website, for what purposes, on what legal basis, for how long it is kept, and what rights you have in relation to it, in accordance with the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection ("Official Gazette of the RS", No. 87/2018).

2. What data we collect

2.1 Data you provide yourself

We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it to us through the forms on the site:

• Contact form (Contact page): full name, email, phone (optional), subject and message title, message content.
• Membership application (Membership page): first and last name, national ID number (JMBG), date of birth, home address, city/town, phone, email, occupation/institution/company (optional), areas of interest — in accordance with Article 5 of the Association's Statute.
• Training interest registration (Courses page): full name, email, area of interest.
• Updates sign-up (News page): email address.

2.2 Data we collect automatically

Through cookies and traffic-measurement tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager), the following is collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on the site, and traffic source. This data is used solely for statistical purposes, to understand how the site is used. Details about cookies can be found in our Cookie Policy.

3. Legal basis and purpose of processing

• Consent — for sending messages via the contact form, signing up for the newsletter, and using analytics cookies.
• Fulfillment of statutory obligations — for processing membership applications, in accordance with the Association's Statute (Art. 5–9).
• The Association's legitimate interest — for responding to inquiries, organizing training and projects, and improving the site's content based on visit statistics.

We process data for the following purposes: responding to inquiries and cooperation proposals; carrying out the membership process; organizing training, workshops and projects; sending activity notices (only to those who have signed up); and monitoring and improving how the site functions.

4. Cookies and analytics tools

The site uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to track visits and visitor behavior. These services may process data on servers located outside the Republic of Serbia, in accordance with Google LLC's own privacy rules. Analytics tools are only activated after you select "Accept" on the cookie banner; if you select "Necessary Only," analytics cookies are not set. More information: Cookie Policy.

5. Sharing data with third parties

We do not sell or transfer personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. Data may only be shared with:

• our hosting provider, for the site's technical operation;
• Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console), solely for the statistical and technical purposes described in Section 4;
• competent government authorities, when expressly required by law.

6. Data retention period

• Data from the contact form and interest registrations is kept until the inquiry is resolved, and for no more than 2 years if no further cooperation is established.
• Data of Association members is kept for the duration of their membership and for as long thereafter as required by the rules governing the retention of association records.
• Data from the updates sign-up form is kept until consent is withdrawn (unsubscribed).
• Data collected via Google Analytics is kept according to that service's configured retention periods (by default, up to 14 months).

7. Data security

The Association takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or misuse. Only those who need it to carry out the Association's work have access to the data. The unique citizen identification number (JMBG), collected solely through the membership application, is handled with particular care and used only to maintain membership records in accordance with the Statute; it is not shared with third parties except where expressly required by law.

8. Rights of data subjects

In accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to:

• be informed about the processing of your data;
• request access to the data we process about you;
• request correction or completion of inaccurate data;
• request deletion of data ("the right to be forgotten");
• request a restriction on processing;
• object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• withdraw your given consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal;
• file a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (www.poverenik.rs), if you believe your rights have been violated.

9. Data of minors

In accordance with Article 5 of the Statute, a minor who has turned 14 may join the Association with the certified consent of their legal representative, while for those under 14, the application is submitted by their legal representative. Please do not submit a minor's data through the forms on this site without the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal representative.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in regulations, tools, or how the site operates. Last updated: August 17, 2026. We recommend checking this page periodically.
